The Green River Writers Readings Project was begun in 2005 as a venue for interested members to enhance their reading skills and to give a more public face to GRW. Under the direction of Sheri Wright and Michele Shoemaker, members meet each third Saturday at 114 South Bayly, Louisville from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. for reading practice that includes coaching on vocal and physical presentation and selecting materials for reading. | |

Members have participated in readings at Poor Richard's Books in Frankfort, the Jazz Factory, Chez Moi Art Gallery, and A Reader's Corner in Louisville, Fauntleroy's Coffeehouse in Lexington, Karen's Books in LaGrange, Four Courts Senior Home, the Morrison Gallery Series at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College, Odyssey Books in Midway, Destinations Bookstore in New Albany Indiana. | |||
